♠ What is this all about?

Before-After

Before-After is a story I'm writing for years now.
It takes part after a third world war, which was ended with the use of a nuke, ignited by a scientist.
A nuklear winter holds the world in its hand.
The result are a lot of human mutants.
For example the "blobs" which seem to be like animals, spurred by their instincts.
Their shape is still kinda human but when they near, they look more like green jelly.
Then there are the "elves" which are human mutants too.
They are able to use some kinds of "magic" and create fireballs. It is easy to recognise them, through their pointy ears and their very small pupils. The pupils are very unflexible and that makes it hard for them to see in the dark.
Animals mutated too. Some of them grew other became more dangerous.

The comic

The comic shows a scene of the story, from the end.
The song is "Rangers" by A Fine Frenzy, a very beautiful song.

♠ Characters

Elves:
♣ Tilia -

She's the main character. In her youth she lost her left eye through a fight with a blob.

♣ Rose -

She's a so called "pan". With her music she can influence blobs, give human and elves dreams. Rose is able to influence those with weak wills too. She is the only one with a family (husband and daughter)

♣ Tiger -

He's a strog warrior and some kind of dork. As childs he and Tilia where best friends.

Knights:
The Knights are a special unit of humans, supported by a human settlement where Tilia lived in her youth.

♣ Ira -

She's the leader (captain) of the unit, a very straight thinking and serious, but short tempered. She fights with the sword, because she was very impressed by old samurai movies.

♣ Sam -

He's the second leader (first lieutenant). As child he saw some cowboy-movies and since that time he trained his shooting skilles with revolvers. He's very famous with the womans.

♣ Edgar -

He's the oldest (leutnant) in the unit. He's very tall and strong. He fights with his fists. In the past he lost his wife and daugther while a raid on their village.

♣ Marie -

The other woman in the unit. She's making a lot of fun about all her comrades. She's fighting with dynamite and other high explosive stuff, plus she's a very strong smoker. In their free time she and Sam are competing about who gets more woman.

♣ Nigel -

He's the youngster and just a short time in the unit (Corporal). As sharpshooter he has a very, very, very calm personality. He rarely seems happy or sad or like he has no emotions at all.

The enemy:
The enemys are some soldiers, who are employed by a maniac noone knows.
In fact they are just humans which were in need for work.
